Mindfulness is the practice of bringing intentional, nonjudgmental awareness to the present moment. It involves paying attention to your thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations, and environment with openness and curiosity—rather than trying to fix, avoid, or analyze them. Rooted in both contemplative traditions and contemporary psychology, mindfulness helps cultivate a sense of groundedness and clarity, even in the midst of stress or emotional difficulty.
